Frequently asked questions

How do refunds work?

All purchases in Matematty — including the Matematty Premium monthly and yearly subscriptions — are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Refunds are handled directly by the store, not by us. We do not have access to your payment details and cannot issue refunds on the store's behalf.

To request a refund:

  • Apple App Store: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Matematty purchase and choose Request a refund. Apple reviews each request individually. Full guide: Apple refund help.
  • Google Play: within 48 hours of purchase you can request a refund directly from Order History. After 48 hours, use the Google Play refund form. Google reviews each request individually.

If you cancel a subscription, you keep access until the end of the current billing period — you are not automatically refunded for the unused time.

How do I cancel my Premium subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the store, not inside Matematty:

  • iPhone / iPad: open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → select MatemattyCancel Subscription.
  • Android: open the Google Play app → tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions → select MatemattyCancel subscription.

Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period.

I purchased Premium but the app still shows it as locked. What do I do?

This usually happens after restoring a device or installing the app on a new one. Open Matematty, go to the Premium screen, and tap Restore purchases. The app will re-check your account with Apple or Google and re-enable Premium within a few seconds.

If restore does not work, make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the original purchase. If the problem persists, email support@iocodo.com with your purchase receipt and we will help.

What is included in Premium?

Matematty is free to play. The first three worlds (Counting, Even & Odd, Addition) are completely free, and the first 5 levels of every other world are free too — that is roughly 90 free levels.

Premium unlocks the remaining levels of the six advanced worlds: Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Mixed Operations, and Geometry — about 90 additional levels and their tutorial lessons.

Two subscription options are available: monthly and yearly. The yearly option offers a discount compared to paying monthly.

Is there a free trial?

You can try every concept in Matematty for free: the first 5 levels of every premium world are unlocked without paying, so you can see the gameplay and the teaching style before subscribing.

Promotional free trials may be offered occasionally directly by Apple or Google — if available, they appear in the Premium screen at checkout time.

Can my child use Matematty on multiple devices?

Yes. Matematty supports up to 4 profiles per device, and an optional iCloud sync (iOS) keeps progress in sync across your Apple devices. Subscriptions purchased on one device work on all your devices signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account (including Family Sharing).

How do I switch language?

Matematty supports 16 languages and tries to match your device language automatically. To change it, open the menu (top-right) on the World Map → Language → pick one. The change is instant.

Does Matematty collect data about my child?

No. Matematty is designed for children and does not collect any personal data, does not include advertising, does not include third-party analytics, and does not share data with anyone. Everything is stored on the device. The only optional cloud feature is iCloud Key-Value Store on iOS to sync progress across your own Apple devices — this is handled by Apple, not by us.

Full details: Privacy Policy.

How do I delete a profile or reset progress?

On the "Who is playing?" screen, long-press a profile to delete it. This removes that profile's progress, character, and name from the device. Since no data leaves the device, there is nothing else to delete.

How do I report a bug or crash?

Email support@iocodo.com with:

  • Device model and OS version
  • App version (visible in the Profile screen)
  • What you were doing when it happened
  • Whether it is reproducible
