One move
Touch a loose rope end, drag it to an empty peg and let go. A rope with another lying across it stays put, so order matters.
Turn the board with a finger to see which rope is on top. It stays at the angle you leave it.
Undo is free. Stuck? The bulb shows one good move.

A new knot every day
Today's knot is one card a day, the same for everyone. Solve it on consecutive days and your streak grows.
The regular cards never run out. Chapters add one idea at a time, from two ropes up to six.

Stars that count
Three stars go to a solve inside par without a hint. The clock counts up from your first touch and never runs out, and a quick solve adds a bonus.
Replay any solved card to raise its stars. The Workshop turns them into rope palettes, board woods and peg finishes.
Play anywhere
Twistio is on Android now, and the iPhone version is on its way. Progress lives on the device you play on. Ranked boards use a random id the app creates for you, so there is still no account to sign into.

Is Twistio free?
Yes. Spools can be earned by playing or bought in packs, and nothing is required to finish a knot.
Do I need an account?
No. Progress is saved on your device. Twistio gives your device an anonymous id on its own, so a ranked score can reach the board without an account.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything you need to play is on your device, Today's knot included, so no connection is needed.
How is difficulty decided?
By card number. Card 40 is the same puzzle for everyone, and each chapter adds one step: more ropes, fewer free pegs or deeper stacks.
What if a rope will not move?
Another rope is lying across it. Move that one first, or tap the bulb for one good move.
What data does the app use?
Anonymous usage and crash statistics through Firebase, so problems can be found and fixed, plus your anonymous id and a display name when you finish a ranked knot. The details are in the privacy policy.
